Unfinished 3D animation of Lightning's gunblade. Done for my 3D class. LOL Yes, I am that obsessed.

Spent hours and hours making every single part of that fuckin' gunblade. But figuring out how it transforms from a blade to a gun...*sigh* MY BRAIN IS GONE

Done with Blender. Yay for free stuff. :XD:

this is really nice, are you gonna try the bow-blade? looking at pictures of it, it seems like the design is different on each one LOL. feels kind of impossible to replicate the bow-blade.

Out of all the references I have for the gunblade, this is honestly the best one. I want to recreate it, but I had absolutely no idea how to make it transform. This helps A LOT. Its still a tad confusing (because its incredibly mind-blowing... darn you Nomura...) but this helps a lot.

It's been torture over here, but my goal is to pull together a full Lightning costume
the only thing I need so far (( Just to know it's there/ ssites that sell what I'm looking for )) is a gunblade and holster
it would be neat to find a gunblade that transforms, but impossible x__x

Oh, so you're gonna dress as Lightning eh? I definitely wanna see some photos. :D
Anyway...I guess it is kinda impossible. But I did saw someone on youtube who's making a transforming one and she's doing quite well. It just takes a lot of time to transform it from a blade to a gun...^^;

Either way -- the gunblade and holster combination that seems remotely good costs 360$ as a flat rate
x__x
after this year's con (And seeing if I can order in a Fang figure from this comic shop in town), I'll be starting to save up for the costume
if so, that gunblade thing is the first thing I'm going to get -- either that or the wig
